Course/ Classroom Terms

Faculty- Staff or professors and instructors at the university/college.

Anchor 1

Internship- A short-term job that a student takes to get experience in their field of intrest/study.

Course Curriculum- A series of classes designed to help students reach a level of formal education or desired outcome.

Lecture- A large class that does not entail lab work. The professor may expect participation, but this is not a discussion-based class.

Office Hours- Dedicated time faculty members set aside on a regular basis for students to ask questions or discuss a course, usually one-on-one.

Syllabus- An overview & roadmap for what the course looks like. It lays out requirements, expectations, class & grading policies and resources.
