Congressional Black Caucus Foundation

This scholarship opportunity is for Students that demonstrate leadership ability through exemplary community services and academic talent. These are a few scholarships that the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation provides: CBC Spouses Essay Contest (High School Junior & Senior Scholarships), Ally Financial Public Policy (Undergraduate Scholarship), CBC Spouses Education Scholarship (Undergraduate Scholarship), CBC Spouses Performing & Visual Arts Scholarships (Undergraduate Scholarship), NREI HBCU Scholarship (Undergraduate Scholarship), Stephan Feinberg Multi-Year Scholarship Program (Undergraduate Scholarship), Ally Financial Law Multi-Year Scholarship (Doctoral/Graduate Studies Scholarships), CBC Spouses Education Scholarship (Doctoral/Graduate Studies Scholarships).

Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers over 400 awards in more than 135 countries for U.S. citizens to teach, conduct research and carry out professional projects around the world.  College and university faculty, as well as artists and professionals from a wide range of fields can join over 400,000 Fulbrighters who have come away with enhanced skills, new connections, and greater mutual understanding.

Bodie McDowell Scholarship

An international, nonprofit organization, OWAA represents a diverse group of professional communicators dedicated to sharing the outdoor experience. Through OWAA membership and adherence to its creed and code of ethics, members are commissioned to provide honest, thorough, informed, responsible and unbiased outdoor coverage. OWAA is proud to support educational pursuits with scholarships and fellowships for outdoor communicators. 

Partner Colorado Foundation

To be eligible for the Partner Colorado Foundation Scholarships, applicants must: be a permanent resident of Colorado; principally reside in the State of Colorado while attending school; be between 17 and 40 years of age; carry a course load of at least nine credit hours; and maintain satisfactory academic progress (at least a 2.0 GPA). Recipients are selected on the basis of financial need.  

Public Relations Scholarship 

Axia Public Relations scholarship takes a bite out of college costs for students who have a financial need, demonstrate their PR passion through volunteer, internship, and employment experiences and are dedicated to professional ethics and standards. The Foundation will send $2,000 payable directly to the selected student’s university on their behalf to fund educational pursuits. Applicants for the scholarship should be juniors or seniors in good academic standing at accredited universities and studying public relations or an equivalent major. United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Scholarships 

The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) scholarship fund was established in 2004 and has awarded over $1.6 million since its founding. Scholarships are available to students studying GEOINT, geospatial sciences, and related fields, with scholarship opportunities available at the graduating high school senior, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral candidate levels.

Aces Education Scholarship 

ACES: The Society for Editing is the nation’s leading organization of editing professionals, educators, and students. They are dedicated to improving the quality of the written word and the working lives of editors. They set standards of excellence and give a voice to editors in journalism, government, business, and beyond through top-notch training, networking, and career opportunities. Through their generosity, ACES offers numerous scholarships to eligible students.​

Dr. Jade Malay High Achievers Award 

The Dr. Jade Malay High Achiever Award was founded by Dr. Jade Malay of Texas, an esteemed medical professional and entrepreneur. This award was created to acknowledge, celebrate, and encourage top performing students who exemplify leadership qualities both in the classroom and in their communities. Each year The Dr. Jade Malay High Achiever Award is presented to two students in pursuit of higher education. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship to support the students' academic pursuits.​Higher Education Scholarships - Balkhi Foundation  (For High School Seniors)The Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship seeks to help talented young people make college more attainable through a $1000 scholarship. These ten annual renewable awards are granted to exceptional high school seniors accepted to a US-based college or university who demonstrate a financial need.​

Carol A. Hurley Memorial Scholarship (For High School Seniors)

To be eligible for the Carol A. Hurley Memorial Scholarship, applicants must: be a high school senior who will graduate from an eligible school (preference is given to applicants who are among the first generation in their families to attend college); be pursuing an undergraduate degree; be enrolled full-time; have a 2.5 GPA; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate school/community involvement; and attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding.​

David C. Liz​árraga Fellowship

Through The David C. Lizárraga Fellowship, TELACU recognizes graduate students who demonstrate the potential and commitment to advance TELACU's mission of building self-sufficient communities through economic empowerment. Applicants must be a first-generation college student, pursuing a master's degree in business administration or engineering (students pursuing other graduate degrees may also be considered at the Foundation's discretion); have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in a graduate program full-time for the entire academic year; and be a permanent resident of a community listed in the college success program guidelines.​

Dr. Jason and Nicole Green African American First-Generation College Scholarship 

With great excitement and significance, the African American First Generation College Scholarship is announced. Greenspan Designs, LLC and The House of Hospitality, a private non-profit organization, have partnered together to launch and support the education of African American college students. African American first-generation college students with GPAs of 3.0 or above involved in community service are encouraged to apply. 

EmPOWERED To Serve Scholars Program 

The EmPOWERED Scholars program awards scholarships to enrolled undergraduate students who volunteer in their communities to use toward their education expenses. Scholars give their time to community-based organizations, student-led organizations and other groups that address food insecurity, safe housing, job opportunities, access to health care and other conditions that can result in health disparities.​

Hendrick Scholarship Foundation

Having financial access to college does not guarantee success in college. To support their students, they provide ongoing guidance and assistance throughout their time in college. Students are awarded scholarships up to a maximum total of $15,000. Scholarship amount per semester varies based on GPA and credits, as well as whether the student starts at Collin College or a 4-year university. A typical distribution is a as follows: $1500 per school year for freshman and sophomore years and $6,000 per school year at a university for junior and senior years.​

Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation Education Scholarship 

The Jeffery Isaiah David Memorial Foundation Education Scholarship was established to honor the memory of PFC Jeffery Isaiah David who on February 22, 2021, closed his eyes on earth and opened them in heaven. Each year the foundation will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors and those already enrolled, seeking to continue their higher educational goals. The scholarships will be given to assist with the costs of attending the college, vocational, or trade school of their choice. Complete the application using the fillable form. Upload transcripts, letters of recommendation, and college acceptance letter. Returning students must upload their current year-end transcript. Red Thread Foundation Scholarship 

A group of women from diverse corners of the world, ranging from Europe to Africa, from Asia to Latin America. They represent former international students, immigrants, and first-generation Americans who have benefitted tremendously from the academic and professional support they have received. Now, they are eager to extend mentorship and scholarship support to women who draw strength from a rich, multicultural identity and who embody a spirit of international leadership.​

Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship 

The Stantec Equity & Diversity Scholarship will contribute to the creation of a critical mass of talented students that will fully represent their industry—it will provide an environment in which all can thrive academically and professionally. Through this scholarship, Stantec will award $200,000 annually. They believe everyone has a right to education, and they are committed to providing people in historically underrepresented and Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) groups with financial aid.
